As one of my followers wrote about my original book of poetry: “Our Seasons of Ardent Love” is a creative expression of J. B. Wocoski’s love for his wife. These are sonnets written for a soul mate. There are many images of nature that subtly express a depth of love and affection shared between husband and wife. Like in one sonnet it says: “Lovers holding hands, strolling through colors of fire.” In another sonnet love is a raging bonfire that contrasts with frozen ground and icicles. I loved the sensual descriptions of nature especially the hot summer nights, rainy days and beaches. In one sonnet J. B. Wocoski describes images of flowers blossoming and compare this to love growing in the spring air. This is a lovely collection of sonnets any romantic should enjoy.
