Here is a simple Chili Dip for this Sunday’s big super bowl event on TV, even you probably know or had it. As long as I can remember, everyone in my family loves this “Classic Chili Cream Cheese Cheddar Cheese Chip Dip”, and it is easier to make for 6 to 8 people, than to say it really fast 3 times, during half time. LoL
1 (15 ounce) can of Chili (your favorite brand and type)
1 (8 ounce) package of Cream Cheese
8 ounces of shredded Cheddar Cheese
A few pinches of chili powder
1 (13 ounce) bag of Tortilla Chips
9”x9”x2” oven safe baking dish, you know like a Pyrex casserole dish
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees,
While the oven is preheating, spread the cream cheese on the bottom of a 9”x9” x2” oven safe baking dish. Spread a layer of chili over the cream cheese. Sprinkle a layer of shredded cheddar cheese on top, and then for extra zest, lightly sprinkle on top a little bit of Chili Powder.
Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheddar cheese melts and starts to bubble on top. Remove from oven and let cool at least 10-15 minutes and then serve with Tortilla Chips.
